Carousel of Progress 3.0

Before New Tomorrowland’s sweeping changes, the land was not a “environment”, persay, like the other lands of the Magic Kingdom, but almost akin to a smaller EPCOT. It was a showplace for industry and science, and often those topics related to aerospace. The original color scheme and aesthetic of the Carousel of Progress directly supports this, as it doesn’t have to “fit” into the land’s characterization as it does now, but can simply exhibit space age buttresses, a large marque, and designs that help showcase it’s movement.

As you can see, the rotating entrances boast a odd striped pattern. To allow for the Carousel’s kinetics to really be eye catching, this design would “grow”, as the pavilion rotated, and the stripes would get “thicker” to create a pleasant optical illusion.
